Conduct Problems
*Conduct problems in children and adolescents sometimes result from disorders such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder (CD). Conduct problems are often seen as disobedience, being argumentative, getting into fights more often than other children that same age, and moodiness. Changes in a child’s behavior, such as telling lies, being generally sneaky, and hanging out with a whole different set of friends can be early signs of significant conduct problems. Both ODD and CD as well as other concerns that contribute to behavior problems require that the individual receive diagnostic testing and interviews in order to nail down the specific problem area and develop a treatment plan. Eden Counseling Center employs Licensed Clinical Psychologists who have the training and expertise to meet the demands of proper assessment and diagnosis of conduct problems.
